no! no! Hair Removal System

No!No! technology is based on Thermicon--a light-based technology developed by Radiancy. Thermicon uses "the scientific principles of thermal transferance to conduct a gentle pulse of heat to the hair." Additionally, the heat pulse technology eliminates hair in three stages: First Contact--the thermal signal is in its strongest state, this allows the thermodynamic wire to separate the hair shaft at the point of contact; Crystallization--as part of the process the thermal signal crystallizes the uppermost part of the hair which temporarily leaves coarse residual hair that can feel prickly to the touch; and finally Disruption--it is assumed that the signal disrupts the cell communication between the bulge and root. This communication is considered to be responsible for stimulating hair growth. The No!No! touts pain-free, non-irritating, hygenic and convenient hair removal.

Patience is a virtue no! no! Hair Removal System was worth it

Let me preface this review with a brief history of my de-furring experiences. Both of my parents are middle eastern, therefore going more than a few weeks without waxing is ...

Well, let's just say the possibility of being locked up in a zoo is not a stretch.

I've waxed, plucked, sugared, cried, whined, and done everything aside from lasering to slow things down.

I tried this a few days ago and I'm already surprised at the results. Granted the concentrated smell of burning hair competes with walking through Manhattan, in 70+ degree weather on garbage day, it still happens to be a decent trade off for the slowdown of hair growth. Christ almighty, 2 days after shaving I could rub my leg against a door and sand it down to a toothpick. Not exactly, but you get the point. It's humiliating and while some of my nature loving and feminist friends do encourage me to 'let it all hang out', I choose to resemble that of the human species. No offense to anyone or anything, but I also think that the furry feminists that got their boobs done are a bit full of it.

I'm an eternal cynic and usually would find a reason to return the product as it is very expensive. So far, it's hard to find a reason to get rid of it - especially with the early results I'm getting.

One thing I will advise against: avoid being a horse's ass and not take heed to the warning labels that clearly say DO NOT USE ON GENITALS. I prefer to keep it Brazilian, and felt like giving this a careful go. That was 2 nights ago and it still feels like a curling iron is stuck to my hoo haw and on the highest temp.

Follow directions and do this right. Everyone has a different experience and take on this but GIVE IT TIME. I'm only 25 and have waxed my legs, babymaker, arms, underarms, and tan line for the last 4 years. This is an honest opinion/experience. You can even im me and ask me about it - this isn't some 'blow smoke up your ass' review. ispfemme

I bought this product and I did not see any results. Instead of less hair on my legs now I've got scars and hyperpigmented raised spots that look very disgusting. You won't listen to me, just as I haven't listened to other peoples' reviews, you will buy it but I garuntee you will return it.

It's all about the long term effects no! no! Hair Removal System was worth it

I agree with the review that the first few times you use the system, your skin isn't fully smooth and there is some stubble. I just shaved after for the first 2 weeks, but after I found that my skin was smoother just with the no!no! and I no longer needed to shave. I think this tool is more about the long-term results, which are great because you start to notice less and less hair growing back. I've only been using it a few weeks and can already see a difference so I'm excited about what it will be like 2 or 3 months from now.

I find most people who think they just run the device over their skin and have perfectly smooth skin from the beginning are often disappointed. If you're prepared to stick with it for a while, then you'll be happy. Just do it near an open window... because it smells a bit :-)
