Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum reviews
Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum was NOT worth itI truly love all of the skin care products in this line. However, when I received the first re-order box, no serum included. The note in the box said, out of stock will send soon. The second re-order came, guess what? No serum with the same out of stock will send soon. After e-mail after e-mail and phone calls, I was finally told serum was only sent with first order.
This omission of product is not stated in any information I have seen when you received the re-order. Anybody else get hosed on this as well? I'm assuming Cindy Crawford gets the serum with her re-order!
Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum was NOT worth itYou may as well not receive the glowing serum. When you get it the bottle is tiny AND get this....it has maybe two drops of serum in it. It's good stuff but come on! I took the bottle apart. It has a "spacer" in it. They are false advertising in my opinion. They are making you think you have more product than what is actually in the package. What a crock.
I also experienced the burning with the facial cleanser and the daily moisturizer resulting in very sensitive skin and dryness.
Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum was NOT worth itI've been using Meaningful Beauty for about 6 months now. At the beginning my skin was very sensitive to it and burned for the first few weeks. The burning went away. But in the 6 months of use i have seen absolutely no change in my skin. I used all the products faithfully morning and night and have not seen anything change in my skin. This is definitely NOT worth the money. I've gotten better results from the Oil of Olay and Loreal skin care lines at alot cheaper cost. I cancelled my autoship order and once i've used up the rest of my product..i'm switching over to another skincare line. I definitely Do Not recommend people waste their money. I'll never buy anything again with Cindy Crawford's name on it.
Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum was NOT worth itI would love to write a review on the glowing serum but SINCE I NEVER RECEIVED THE PRODUCT - even though I paid for it I cannot do so.
SHAME ON CINDY CRAWFORD
What a fly by night operation!!
THey have no inventory and you wait forever to receive any product at all - and by the way the stuff does not even work.
SAVE YOUR MONEY !!! Do NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!
Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum was worth itThe only one of these products that I have used is the Maintenance 2 Night Serum. I have to say that it has had a remarkable effect on the clarity and moisture of my skin. I even use it during the day underneath anything else I choose to put on my face.
I've used so many of these specialty products, and very few actually work other than the Este Lauder anti-agings, and a couple of the "luxury drugstore" anti-aging products(Aveno Active Naturals - with mushroom complexes in it) and the Avon Alternative products. I still use them all but have added the Meaningful Beauty Night Serum 2 to the regimen. Everything works better!
My skin does actually glow - and very few fine lines. And smooth skin. I am age 60 but my skin has always been good, looking more like 38 or 40, probably because of Este Lauder and Avon - but now looks even better with this Meaningful Beauty night serum.
It's sad that the only way you can buy individual items is from eBay - if you buy from the company you have to take the whole enchilada and they automatically bill your credit card and send you new stuff even when you haven't finished the previous batch - thus some good eBay sellers make it possible.
Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum was NOT worth itI was charged for this product on 2/13/2009 and have not yet received the product- this is my second shipment but after this shipment I canceled the order and now have not received my order. They tell me now it can take up to 25 weeks - what happened to the 90 day shipment. I was very disappointed in this product for more than one reason. It made my skin dry and I cannot use it all the time because I do not receive my shipments on time
Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum was NOT worth itI am always amenable to trying new, particularly natural and gentle sounding products. Based on all of the testimony in the ads, it sounded as though the anti aging results were remarkable. After two uses, my skin (which never reacts, usually pretty even) began burning and turned red, now I have what looks to be tiny blistered sunburn and puffiness. I am at a loss about how to alleviate the stinging and puffiness. I am obviously sending it all back. Ingredients upon review, shouldn't surprise me- lots of so-called natural ingredients, like ethyl, methyl and butyl parabens, put in products to extend shelf life and now I clearly understand how these ingredients can cause reactions. If your skin is sensitive, I would not recommend using this line. Even if it is not, there are much better, cleaner lines, which have far better results. I am not a vendor, so not pushing any one. I just want to get the word out, this product is not suitable for all skin types and also, I would argue, because so much of it appears to be synthetic, not high quality.
Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum was NOT worth itI never even tried the product, I called to return it after reading all the negative feedback on blogs. That was last Dec. and I am still waiting on my refund of $109. Not to mention they tried to tell me it was past the time to recieve a refund even though I kept calling to see if they had recieved my returned product (un-opened, and returned to sender) I also called in the meantime to let them know the debit card in which I purchased it with had since been cancelled and replaced so they would not be able to refund it to that card, and they informed me that was not their problem and I needed to call my bank. Maybe the product would have worked, but their customer service provided was so poor I would not reccommend this to ANYONE!
Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum was worth itI have searched for the 15 years for a product to work. I have combo skin and it is very difficult to find something to clear my acne. I tried proactive and all it did was dry my face. For the past three weeks I have used this product and I have recieved alot of compliments. Even today the doctor asked me my age. He could not believe I was 30.
Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum was NOT worth itPlaced my order on Aug. 17 and product arrived Aug. 25th PRIORITY MAIL. The special Glow Serium (suppose to be the "MAGIC" formula to the entire line) was on back order and I never received it. Call CSR and was told it was shipped on Dec.7th to the wrong address. As stated, I never received it. I requested a refund and of course it exceeded my 60 day trial from the date they shipped it. CSR said NO refund after 60 days and no exception. My bottles are still full as I was waiting for the Glow Serium. I used the product for a week. Nothing special. Maybe because I was missing the Glow Seruim in order to have the full effect. A billing specialist was to call me in with in 48 hours. Finally called me 10 days later to say, NO REFUND since I'm beyond my 60 days regardless. Nonetheless, I stopped all future orders and asked that they remove my information, including my credit card on file. Told me that I need to do it in writing. Well, here it is... IN WRITING!
Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum was NOT worth itI too had burning around my eyes and on my face when I used the Meaningful Beauty products. I also have occular rosacea, which, even though I liked the eye cream for making the skin look good around my eyes, it exacerbated my eye condition so I will be returning it. I've heard Jojoba oil around the eyes is the best for my condition.
Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum was worth itI purchased Meaningful Beauty not to loose 10 year but to look my best at 52. I love the way it felt going on my skin. I'm sure if you're like me you've tried almost everything to get that youthful appearance we all once had.
The cleanser is light but cleans your skin beautifully. The day cream was the same as was the night cream, light and not greasy or heavy.
As a young teen I watched my mother with her COLD cream every night. I tried it one night and it felt like LARD on my face!It was so heavy and greasy. I also tried her day time eye cream that promised to take the lines away. Well it did that for sure BUT you couldn't smile or it would crack and flake off!
Back to my problem. I noticed that my face and around my eyes stinging and burning slightly, then in the morning of the 2nd week my eyes were swollen and red, but I still thought it was just part of the proses and I continued. Well when I awoke this morning my eyes were swollen shut! I put an ice pack on my eyes and called Meaningfull Beauity. I was told to stop the product and they would reimburse me every penny including S&H. Which I thought was nice BUT I wanted to know what to do about the swelling and burning, The sales Rep. had no answers for me, no one did!
What do I do, I have a family Christmas photo in 2 days!!!
I called my girl friend Kathy C. who had bought Meaningfull Beauty a month before I did. Kathy said she was using everything BUT the eye cream and loves it! Kathy also said the eye cream burned her eyes too.
I am still sitting here wondering what to put on my skin around my eyes and my cheeks they are swollen, very red, tight, dry and burning!
The woman at the pharmacy said I looked like I just had a LASER treatment or a face peel and should see a doctor.
So PLEASE beware of this product if you have sensitive skin, actually I never have had sensitive skin until now.
Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum was worth itWell, I have tried literally everything. I had to stop using this product as it irritated my eyes BUT my skin is very, very sensitive and this is mild compared to many others I have tried.
The whole meaningful beauty experience has been a great one. The product packaging is lovely. The product itself goes on and stays on beautifully.
When I called customer service to cancel future shipments not only did they cancel without any problems they actually credited my account for the original order! Her name was Debby and I had expected to go through hell and back to terminate my existing agreement. Pleasantly surprised is an understatement! I give this product and its customer service a full 10!!!
Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum was worth itFirst, let me say that I am a real customer, and not a rep. I saw the ad for this product on TV and order it before doing any research. When I googled the item, I saw tons of negative comments and thought that I had made a huge mistake.
I was so scared to put the stuff on my face, that I considered sending right back. I am so glad I tried it. For the first time, my skin does not feel dry when I use a cleanser, and yet it is completely cleansed of makeup and excess oil.
If you feel you need more use the toner. It is gentle but takes everything off. I agree with others regarding the moisterizers. Their are not greasy.
I have only used the product for one week and my skin looks fresher and more even that ever. I highly recommend the product.
Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum was NOT worth itThis product burned my face so bad that I couldn't go to work for 4 days after starting the product.
Please be really carefull. I was able to use any store bought face product and never got my face in the condition that it is now. I cannot believe that I got convinced by an infomercial.
Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum was NOT worth itI received my introductory offer in August and love all of the products except I have yet to recieve the serum. After numerous calls and no results I cancelled. It doesn't matter how good a product is if you can't get it. Weekly hassels cause more wrinkles not less.
Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum was worth itMeaningful Beauty is the only product that has ever helped my skin. I just love it! I wish Cindy would develop a quality makeup line as well. I am an RN and I wouldn't endorse this product if it didn't work for me.
To make sure my product works well, I follow these steps: always wash hands before, use a clean white cloth every time, keep my containers clean and do not touch the openings, rinse my face throughly, use the toner and masque sparingly.
Remember the product last 3 mos so care must be taken not to contaminate it. I can't say how much I love it! I stpped using it for a while to test it. My face was fine for about 15 days and the breakout started again but it was not as bad. With Proactiv it only took 24 hrs.
I have also had great success with customer service in replacing lost shipment and charges I love it because it a great value and the entire line covers all my needs except makeup.
I just wear lipstick now but would like to add some eyecolor. My skin is so beautiful, I just hate to try other makeup. I wish I had found this before my 40's. I would have avoided all that dermatology care!!! I know that sounds funny coming from a RN but its true!!!
Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum was NOT worth itI tried the cleanser and the day and night lotions. They were okay. When I put the glowing serum and the eye gel on, it burned my skin. I haven't used it for nearly two weeks and my skin still burns when I put lotion on, especially near the eyes. Diane
Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum was NOT worth itI ordered this product 1 month ago and have yet to receive it so I can't really talk about it as I have never tried it. But I'm so frustrated that I'm getting no response even though my credit card was charged 3 weeks ago that I want everyone who is thinking about ordering this to know that you may have a long delay in receiving it. If you do receive it at all!
Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum was worth itI have been using Meaningful Beauty since May of 2007. My skin is at its best ever. If you use the entire set, you will see a difference in your skin immediately. Overtime, your skin will continue to maintain. I have very sensitive skin. In the past, I had to switch skin products often (usually after 1 1/2 bottles....which always made me mad since I could never finish the 2nd bottle before new allergies develops). So far, it is approaching 1 1/2 years, I am still using the products daily.
Comparing to other products in the market (even the ones in the drugstore), the pricing is very reasonable. I don't use all the products in equal speed, and I have been able to customize my orders.
On top of all that, my life has gotten to be so busy, I am grateful the products just show up on my door steps. This also stops me from going to the dept. stores, and spending money on things I don't need just because I am in the store!
I am sure this is not the prodcut for everyone, but it is definitely worth a try!
Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum was NOT worth itI ordered these products weeks ago. I waited and waited and when I finally received my product yesterday, the glowing serum wasn't even in my order.
The customer service rep told me I would be charged $36 for the 30-day trial products, but got charged $119 for the 90 day products. Apparently they ran out of the 30-day products and took it upon themselves to charge my debit card $119 with OUT my permission.
When I asked the guy what Meaningful Beauty was going to do to rectify the situation, he said absolutely nothing & he told me I wasn't the only customer to call and complain about being charged $119. I'm sending the product back for a full refund.
If you want to order their product, just be careful you get what you think your paying for.
Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum was NOT worth itI have truly tried it all Murad, ProActive, Continuously Clear, etc. I have had no luck with any! I had high hopes for the Meaningful beauty line only to be disappointed. I initially bought the 90 day supply because I really wanted the "Renew Glowing Serum" (Which after 3 months I have still not received!). It took over a month to receive my products, and it wasn't until I called to inquire about them did I even receive a post card apologizing for the delay due to popularity. So I am over 2 1/2 months into using them and I have had more breakouts than ever. I will say this though, my skin is incredibly soft. The eye cream burns if you use it right after the toner, and I never feel like the cleanser has quite cleaned (and forget it taking off your mascara). I really, really wanted this to work. I am just so disappointed it didn't. Back to the drawing board I guess. Good luck ladies.
Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum was worth itI excitedly bought the meaningful beauty line with great hopes....unfortunately I had an allergic reaction. When I phoned he company, the meaningful customer service rep. was very helpful and assured me of a full refund. It is wonderful to have a company truly stand behind their refund policy. Thank you. Kim
Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum was NOT worth itSo I ordered the meaningful beauty product, even opted to receive the 90 day regimen. Then added the vitamins as well. Well, many weeks later I received the vitamins but no product, even though I was one of those "first 500 callers" that would receive expedited shipping. I called today to cancel any further product from this company, including the one that "was just about to ship-the original meaningful beauty regimen". The operator told me that there is a huge back order (I think she forgot she told me it was just about to ship) and she is getting many cancel orders today. When you call to cancel you have to go through two different phone numbers! They don't even have the same customer service. Something's fishy about this company. I also did some computer research and the product has an ingredient that is a worrisome.
I had first seen this little blog right after I ordered and prayed I would be one of the people with a positive response. Not so. I am returning to Serious Skin Care.

Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum was worth itIF YOU DISAGREE WITH THE SCIENCE BEHING SUPEROXIDE DISMUTASE YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT IT. Yes the enzyme does come from a melon, however it is naturally present in and procuced by every cell in our body however those levels decline with age.
Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum was NOT worth itThe daily cleansing cream has burned my face and created "craters" around my chin, nose and mouth, within the next couple of days the "craters" began to dry out my skin flaked off for four days.
I still used the moisturizing day cream 7 days later because I didn't want to give up on the product just yet, I then colored my hair at home using an organic natural plant based product, the natural beauty day cream was still in my hairline and the organic color I used started to burn at my hairline I now have red patches of skin that are very painful. My skin is not overly sensative either.
This product has so much acid it's unbelievable, I will never use this product again.
Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum was NOT worth itThis is my third day. My eyes were the size of little golf balls this morning. Last night when I used the eye serum it burned. I woke with my eyes swollen and red. It's now the afternoon and I'm still swollen and red. I've used a lot of products and have never once had a reaction like this. I will be sending this back. I usually never post but this is ridiculous.
Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum was NOT worth itTrust me and not a company like Guthy
Renker - do not buy this product!!! They say one thing and bill you for the wrong price and then refuse to refund your money. The product is okay but I think you'd be better off with a product like Oil of Olay. They are a lot cheaper and have similar results. Let's face it, Cindy Crawford and her French doctor are just trying to make money off of ordinary people when really she has just been blessed with good genes, money, and cosmetic surgery. Eventually, she will grow old like the rest of us and wrinkles will appear.
Meaningful Beauty Renew Glowing Serum was NOT worth itAWFUL! I have read so many terrible reviews about this company/product, so I decided to not only call and cancel my order and the recurring charges, but I also canceled my credit card and got a new number.(It didn't work anyways!) Well...low and behold last week, I received a new kit from them and I was laughing as I thought, I just got this for free, they can't charge my old card. Well after further review of the invoice, they had illegally obtained my new credit card number!!! Totally scary! I called right away and explained how they were stealing from me and they illegally obtained my cc #, etc... The woman was less than competent, so I asked to speak with a supervisor. She got on the phone immediately after I was put on hold and told me she would refund my money right away. I again asked how they got my new cc#, her explanation was...the bank called and gave them my info! NO BANK would ever do that. So I once again had to cancel my card and get a new one. If this happens again, I will press charges!!!
