L'oreal Advanced RevitaLift Anti-Aging Glycolic Peel Kit was worth it
This is a great little kit, even though I think it's being discontinued. I had never tried glycolic peels, but since this one is very mild (10%), I thought I'd try it. I have sensitive skin that burns and freckles, never tans. I also have a bit of rosacea.
I followed directions carefully and never experienced much redness or discomfort. I've been using it for a few months, and the clarity of my skin has really improved. And even though I purchased it hoping to reduce wrinkles, the best thing is that it has prevented my chin from breaking out, which used to happen around once a month. I believe this comes from the deep cleansing effect of peels, even a really mild one like this. I use it twice a week if I can remember to.
Since I've experienced "peels on training wheels" this way, it has given me courage to get a deeper professional peel at some point.
Honestly this is the only product I have ever purchased at a drug store that actually provides visible results.
