It does have a little burning sensation sometimes when applied. I have noticed some dryness periodically but can use moisturizer to control that. It works. I stopped using for awhile and started having breakouts - went back to it and my face cleared up. I am 43 and think I may never grow out of the breakouts! so this will be in my bag always.
