Arbonne Prolief Natural Balancing Cream

I was diagnosed with PCOS 5 years ago. Since then I have gained 70 pounds in the middle of my body (stomach, hips, thighs) and feel horrible. I also have facial hair. I have problems with infertility as well. My husband and I have been trying to concieve for about 4 years now. The problem being that I don't have regular cycles in turn I don't ovulate. Okay so now that you have a little history. I began using Arbonne's prolief natural balancing cream 4 days ago. In that time the acne on my face has cleared up, and the puiffiness in my face is gone. Also I havent had a menstrual cycle in so long I can't even remember. Well my cycle started on day 2 of taking the cream. I am taking 1 pump in the morning and 1 pump at night. I also started taking a series of vitamins that I found out PCOS women are usually deficient in. Magnesium, Zinc, Chromium (glucose tolerant factor), folic acid, b-complex, vitamin e, and co-enzyme q10. I take one dose of all those in the morning before I go to work. Now the tru test will be if my husband and I are able to concieve as many women have claimed they have with Arbonne. Right now I do feel good and a lot calmer. So something is working!!!

Please think twice before buying this product!!!

I went to an Arbonne home party in Oct., 2006, and after the sales pitch the Arbonne consultant presented, I purchased Arbonne's Prolief cream. I began using it in November, December of 2006, and January of 2007. It was in February that I stopped using it because I had noticed a change in the pattern of my monthly cycle.

My husband and I were trying to get pregnant with our second baby. Mind you, we got pregnant VERY easily with our first child and my cycles after her birth were VERY regular, lasting 32-34 days without fail. It is actually a very good thing that I stopped using the Prolief, because:
1. If you are using Prolief and get pregnant while using it, you MUST continue using it because abruptly stopping its usage could very likely cause you to miscarry; and,
2. Using the Prolief cream shortened my monthly cycles to 22-25 days in length.

Why is this a problem, you ask? Because when your cycles are this short, you egg at the time of ovulation is immature and virtually non-impregnable.

It took us 9 months, tests, infertility treatment, and the eventual "giving up" to get pregnant. And, the marked change in the length of my cycle coicided with month two (December, '06) of my Prolief usage. Using any kind of hormonal treatment, natural or not, alters your body's chemistry and its function. It did mine.

I would recommend that you avoid using this cream unless it's advised by a DOCTOR not an Arbonne consultant that it would benefit you.

I am 40. My youngest is 2 1/2 & oldest is 5. I started to feel like someone else was taking over me. I wasn't nice, felt tired, my breasts were painful, had ache-ey legs & periods were unbearable. I had a physical & all okay. Didn't have hormones checked although planning to.

I too suffer with PCOS. If anyone else has this they know what a drain it can be for any woman to go through the motions of this crazy roller coaster of symptoms. I was tired of my irregular periods, going to infertility specialists who put me right on birth control that sent me into even more hormonal imbalances, facial hair, weight fluctuations, the list can go on forever.

I finally was having girl talk at work with my 'arbonne consultant, (I do hair), she got me the proleif and i have not yet had to resort back to the birth control!! The key is to use it correctly. You can not smother your body in lotions or bodywashes with mineral oils and then apply your cream!! The mineral oil blocks the cream from being absorbed. You must do your homework.. I cant be without my proleif. It was my miracle.

I am 49 years old. For years I have had irregular and very heavy periods, and I was to the point of having a hysterectomy at my doctor's recommendation. I tried birth control pills and progestin pills to control the bleeding. I have many uterine fibroids and have had several tests for uterine cancer and none was found.

May 11th> Natural remedies are prescribed to balance the abnormal cycle as much as possible.

May 18th> Abnormal discharge. Waiting to see dr for a series of tests.

i am 35 yrs old and had to have a total hysterectomy several years ago because of several endometriosis. i have used the prolief cream for the past six months and i love it. i apply one pump at night before going to sleep. i have never slept so well in all my life. i am calmer and more relaxed. my skin is glowing and creamy. i love it and would totally recommend this product. i buy it from a local pharmacy, a pharmacist actually recommended it to me. she loved it so much that she became a certified distributer. she is big into teaching the woman in our community of natural products available to them.
