About Anthelios SX
Anthelios SX is a sunscreen offering the recently approved sun filter Mexoryl SX. Anthelios SX is manufactured by LaRoche-Posay, the company that also makes prescription-only Biomedic skin anti-aging treatments. Anthelios SX claims to provide maximum sun protection via 3 sun filters: Octocrylene (to address UVB rays), Parsol 1789 (to address long UVA rays), and Mexoryl SX (to address the short-range UVA rays that, according to the Anthelios site, many other sunscreens currently miss between the long UVA and UVB ranges of rays). Anthelios SX also touts 24-hour hydration that’s PABA-free, fragrance-free, non-greasy, allergy-tested and suitable for sensitive skin.
