Anastasia Brow Wiz

Whilst $20.00 is far more expensive than my beloved but discontinued Maybelline Twin Brow in Charcoal Grey, Anastasia's Brow Wiz in Medium Ash is the only I've tried that comes anywhere close in regards to color, texture and staying power.

The texture of the product is not quite as chalky as Maybelline's, so a lighter touch is necessary when applying - this is nice once one is used to it because a little goes a long way. Furthermore, it requires less tugging on the skin than with a harder pencil, which is better for the delicate skin surrounding the eye.Because the wand is so long and slender, I tend to hold the end further from my face which helps me to use less pressure.

With it's slim size and built-in sharpener, it keeps a nice tip with every use. The cap is very well designed as well and fits securely onto the product, which helps keep it fresh. I literally listen for the little "click" to make sure I've put the cap on all the way...I've had this pencil for over a month and it's as good as new.

Though a nice little extra, the built-in brow brush likely adds to the cost. Personally, I'd prefer the same product without this feature if it would mean paying less.
