A favorite of makeup mavens since it began in 1994, Stila (pronounced "STEE-la", for the Italian word meaning "to pen") is known for makeup-artist worthy products that are easy-to-use for anyone. Stila prides itself on its ability to translate product trends and up-to-the-minute shade statements into wearable looks, and as Stila says on its site, they've "developed a reputation in the industry as the fresh, uncontrived, attitude-free brand." Many of the Stila formulas are multi-tasking--so an eyeshadow doubles as an eyeliner, for example, and comes in an interchangeable "pan" compact. Most recently, Stila launched its Sheer Color Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30 Oil Free, which is touted as one of the highest-level SPF's available in a tinted moisturizer.
