The RéVive Company Line
“RéVive skincare is surprisingly simple. The entire skincare line is based on one irrefutable fact: in your 20’s skin regenerates every two to three weeks (i.e. skin cells turn over regularly to expose fresh new skin underneath the dead top layer of skin cells). As we age skin regeneration slows to eight or nine weeks. RéVive works because it speeds up skin cells on a molecular level. RéVive, with Nobel Prize winning EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor), is responsible for creating dynamic and fast moving cell activity so that after only a few weeks, your skin looks youthful and dewy.”
According to the RéVive site, Dr. Gregory Bays Brown, RéVive’s founder, has merged rigorous science with haute couture skin care. The “rigorous science” is the research behind the bioengineered molecule EGF, which was originally found to accelerate the healing of burn wounds, and which Dr. Brown later received the cosmetic patent for in 1994. RéVive Moisturizing Renewal Cream—which RéVive touts as the anti-aging product to get if you’re only going to get one—promises to perfect skin imperfections by delivering glycolic acid along with the patented EGF. RéVive’s Intensite Volumizing Serum touts a new molecule--KGF (Keratinocyte Growth Factor)—to “augment the subtle loss of facial volume and plump trouble areas” while “halting DNA fragmentation”.
RéVive’s Masques des Yeux was developed by Dr. Brown to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Neiman Marcus and the 10th anniversary of RéVive. It launched exclusively at Neiman Marcus in September ‘07.
