In doing so, Phytomer (which means "ocean plants") has concentrated its research and development on the benefits derived from 3 marine areas: the ocean itself, seaweed, and coastal plants. A key active ingredient of Phytomer, and one that's found in nearly all their products, is Oligomer, which is derived from freeze-dried sea water and is touted as a "vehicle for penetration" for skin caring ingredients. Phytomer offers a number of spa- or salon-only treatments, but their portfolio also includes a range of anti-aging products for in-home use. Phytomer Extreme Lift Intense Firming Cream delivers marine peptides to promise a boost in collagen synthesis and redefined facial contours. Phytomer Whiteclat 2 Whitening Spot Corrector Serum contains Marine SeaWhite Complex and claims to deliver clear, glowing and evened out skin tone.
