Since Origins began in 1990, it’s been well-touted as a brand that derives beauty—and its beauty formulas—from nature. Indeed, Origins uses plant-based ingredients in its formulas and the Origins Organics line is the first full line of prestige skin, body and hair products to be certified under the USDA National Organic Program. The Origins portfolio houses all the usual beauty suspects (makeup, skincare, fragrance…), many of which target the “anti-aging” set. Origins Youthtopia, in cream or lotion, boasts skin firming properties, as well as a reduction in fine lines. Origins A Perfect World is an antioxidant lotion which claims to “neutralize free radicals before they deface skin.”
Origins has collaborated with a leading authority on integrative health—Harvard trained medical doctor and botanist, Dr. Andrew Weil, to create the Dr. Andrew Weil for Origins line. The line touts formulas that will “help improve your body, mind and spirit.”
