Natura Bisse, based in Barcelona, began as one man’s passion to redefine himself—his career—and start his own business. Ricardo Fisas, President of Natura Bisse, had been Managing Director at a research lab that developed new ingredients for the cosmetics industry. As the Natura Bisse site says, he noticed one day that workers at the lab had “very soft hands”. Why? They had been working day after day processing proteins such as collagen, elastin and keratin. And so began Natura Bisse. The Natura Bisse portfolio includes flagship lines Inhibit, which professes to be an alternative to invasive procedures, and Diamond, which contains “powerful ingredients” to counteract every aspect of skin’s aging process. Diamond Drops touts a “new concept in skincare” that delivers Marine DNA to provide a “protective shield to neutralize free radicals and solar radiation”. Natura Bisse’s portfolio also includes 8 other lines to address specific skin needs with targeted ingredients such as Glycolic Acid, vitamin C, Cytokines (complex proteins), and Oxygen (hydrogen peroxide) to name a few.
