The “MD” in MD Skincare is Dr. Dennis Gross, NYC dermatologist and founder of the company. With a bevy of celeb and model clients, Dr. Gross took the learning and expertise from his practice and embodied it in his skincare line to allow customers to have the benefits of a visit to a dermatologist without having to get a prescription or endure in-office procedures. One of the most popular MD Skincare treatments is the Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel, which started out as “a handmade concoction for clients to take home for use in-between visits.” The Peel contains Genistein, a natural plant estrogen found in soy that is touted as a collagen-boosting ingredient. MD Skincare Hydra-Pure Oil-Free Moisture is another “best-seller” and touts antioxidant benefits as well as the ability to “cure the oil chemistry disorder that leads to acne and clogged pores.”
