MD Formulations, part of the Bare Escentuals company, touts itself as a line of “for professional use only” skin care. And while there are MD Formulations treatments that are administered in-office only by professionals, the MD Formulations line of skin care is available for sale on their site. The MD Formulations professional treatments include Alpha/Beta Peels, a Glycolic Acid Peel, and an array of Facials including an Antioxidant Hydrating Facial which uses pure retinol-vitamin A and papaya enzymes to exfoliate skin in preparation for the antioxidant massage. MD Formulations line of skin care formulas includes Cleansers, Correctors, Hydrators, Protectors and Special Care treatments. Moisture Defense Antioxidant Cream, specially formulated for eyes, promises to deliver vital moisture while defending against environmental stress. Vit-a-Plus Clearing Complex promises relief for blemish-prone skin by delivering a dose of BHA, AHA and Retinol-pure Vitamin A.
