Lipid Recovery Science
Lipid Recovery Science is a line of skin care treatments developed by Custom Dermaceuticals. The Lipid Recovery Science portfolio includes formulas to address the needs of aging skin, as well as conditions such as acne, dryness and skin that is either pre- or post-chemical or –laser treatments. Lipid Recovery Science Lipid Recovery Serum (LRS) is touted to provide “post treatment essential lipids” with a fragrance- and preservative-free blend of plant-derived Sphingolipids—the lipids that comprise 49% of the lipids in the stratum corneum of human skin and, therefore, contribute most to skin’s lipid barrier. Lipid Recovery Serum also contains Vitamin E Acetate which is said to deliver antioxidant benefits to skin. Also available from Lipid Recovery Science is their LRS Eye Serum with vitamin K and retinol—which promises to reduce the appearance of dark circles and reverse UV-induced sun damage.
