The House of Guerlain began as a fragrance house in 1828, making it one of the oldest beauty companies in existence today. While still known for its perfumes, such as Shalimar, Guerlain now also carries a complete portfolio including skin care and makeup. Anti-aging formulas, such as Guerlain Success Future Wrinkle Minimizer, Firming Pure Amber Extract Serum tout ultra-firming properties to leave skin visibly less-lined and imparted with improved elasticity. Founder Pierre-François Pascal Guerlain was His Majesty’s Official Perfumer in France, which led to some other royal assignments…creating perfumes for Queen Victoria of England and Queen Isabella of Spain. Since 1828, Guerlain has introduced over 300 perfumes including Vol de Nuit, Vetiver, Samsara and Insolence.
