The Glytone Company Line
“Glytone offers a targeted range of in-office peels and at-home product regimens based on indication for all your skincare concerns…Glytone's 8 systems cover all skincare concerns including aging, sunspots, acne, dry skin, dull skin, sun protection, keratosis pilaris (hard, goose bump skin), and post procedure care. Glytone uses the highest level of free glycolic acid allowing your physician to control treatment regimens and achieve maximum efficacy and optimum skin rejuvenation. As such, Glytone products are only available through a dermatologist or physician.”
Glytone’s 8 product “Systems” are only available through your doctor—even though some are daily regimens vs. in-office treatments. Glytone’s Professional System offers in-office glycolic acid peels ranging from 30%-70%. The Glytone Step-Up System is for those in the 25+ age group who are experiencing the first signs of “cosmetic aging”. The Step-Up System touts itself as an “introductory skincare regimen” and its formulas contain glycolic acid ranging from 4.7% to 20%. The Glytone Clarifying System is the next level up, for when age spots—otherwise known as hyperpigmentation—begin to appear. The Clarifying System adds ingredients such as salicylic acid, which Glytone claims primes the skin for the Clarifying System’s key ingredient: hydroquinone cream which is known to reduce hyperpigmentation. Glytone’s Essentials System is an AHA-based daily skin care regimen with AHA concentrations ranging from 2.6% to 10.8%.
Glytone’s Suncare System includes a mineral sunscreen that’s touted as suitable for sensitive and post-op skin.
