“Éminence Organic Skin Care delivers the highest quality natural skin care to leading salons, spas and their clients. Our active products are created using European certified premium quality herbs, fruits, and flower buds, and are proudly free of Parabens, Mineral Oils, Petroleum and Sodium Lauryl Sulphate.”
The Bottom Line
According to Eminence, their line of skin care is so natural, “you can see the fresh fruit pulps, seeds, and smell the real herbs.” Eminence’s Eight Greens Youth Serum touts a powerful cocktail of “extra potent antioxidants” to not only fight the effects of free radicals but also to normalize oil overproduction and reduce hormonal breakouts. Eminence Raspberry Eye Masque touts the antioxidant benefits of raspberries to target free radicals and to reinforce collagen fibers for firmer skin. It also contains vitamin K to promise help with dark circles, and vitamin A to help reduce fine lines and wrinkles—particularly crow’s feet.

Eminence doesn't have the original Hungarian products any longer. The manufacturer cancelled their contract because they violated it. Now they are trying to copy the products but the new versions are very bad mimics and actually cause a lot of breakdown. Who knows what's in the jars... The original products are called Ilike Organic Skin Care now and you can see the huge difference and the results also speak for themselves. The original products are certified organic and contain real fruit and veggie pulps, while the Eminence ingredient list contains extracts. You can read about the difference between fruit pulps and extracts You can read the manufacturer's site about Eminence copying I don't even understand how can you promote this mock-up line and support such untruthful business practices... Lisa - who was being lied to by Eminence however been a loyal customer spa for many years

Thanks, Lisa - I wish I read this before I bought Eminence Tomato Sun Cream! We don't promote Eminence or any other product line that RealSelf.com users can review. We offer product reviews and information so people like you can help reveal which products are worth it.

I actually emailed Attila Koronczay who's apparently in charge of international affairs for Eminence Organic Skin Care Products on May 2, 2008 to ask her to respond to Lisa's comments. I did locate a lengthy and apparently "official" response to the ongoing Eminence vs Ilike story from Ms. Koronczay on another website however, the source was second-hand and I wanted to allow Ms. Koronczay to respond directly. As I have yet to hear back from Ms. Koronczay, the link to the above info I referenced is here (dated 2/4/08)...http://www.yelp.com/topic/dublin-eminence-organic-products-for-facials-

Well, Lisa does have a good point about using extracts vs using pulp. The primary ingredient in Eminence Tomato Sun Cream is "Tomato Extract". I didn't know what that was before, but it sounds like it's created using alcohol. In any event, I'm much more impressed with the disclosure from Keys Soap about SolarRX - they tell both the percentage of all key ingredients, and also the total organic percentage. Until I get around to taking a photo of the Solar RX bottle, you can see this example of Keys Therapy Facts.
