The Elizabeth Arden Company Line
“Elizabeth Arden is uniquely positioned to continue its role as a leader in the fragrance, cosmetic and skincare industry, building upon its expertise and advances while always remaining on the cutting edge of product innovation”
The Bottom Line
You almost cannot separate the words “Elizabeth Arden” from “Red Door Salon”…and now “Spa”. But the Elizabeth Arden portfolio has come to include much more than a midday pamper-fest for ladies who lunch or who just want a facial. The Elizabeth Arden line includes anti-aging treatments such as Ceramide Plump Perfect Moisture Cream with SPF 30, which promises to deliver a less-lined, more relaxed look. Arden’s Ceramide collection launched Gold Ultra Restorative Capsules which claims to support skin’s own natural collagen levels. And most recently, Elizabeth Arden launched the non-prescription Prevage Anti-Aging treatment (and a Prevage line), a 2006 Allure Editor’s Choice Award winner, and touted as a revolutionary cosmeceutical to target wrinkles, roughness and discoloration. Next up in the Prevage line: Prevage Anti-aging Night Cream--which promises to leave skin "repaired, refreshed and recovered"--even if you didn't have a good night's sleep.
Did You Know?
Born in Canada in 1878, Elizabeth Arden’s given name was Florence Nightingale Graham. By 1910, Arden had opened her first salon on Fifth Avenue in NYC—and, as would become the image (and name!) of the Elizabeth Arden salons for years to come, Arden chose red as the color for the door.
