Here’s a primer (no pun intended): According to an article on the Orange County Business Journal site (dated 10/22/07), Diane Ranger, founder of Colorescience, also founded Bare Escentuals in the late 70’s. She ultimately brought in Leslie Blodgett in 1995 to become Bare Escentuals’ CEO, and Blodgett in turn created the BareMinerals line. Still with me? Ranger also owns Body Chemistry Manufacturing, Inc., which has also made makeup for Jane Iredale. Whew!
