While Cetaphil is most associated with cleansers and moisturizers for sensitive skin, the dermatologist-recommended brand also claims to be suitable for such skin conditions as acne, atopic dermatitis, eczema, impetigo, psoriasis, rosacea, sunburn and pre- and post-cosmetic surgery care. Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, probably the most well-known of the Cetaphil line, claims to be not only non-irritating and hypoallergenic, but also to help prepare skin for topical medications. Recently the Cetaphil line went through a repackaging—so it no longer has the classic blue & white (or green & white) label; the line’s been dressed up with a new blue & lime logo.
