About Basq
Basq is the brainchild (no pun intended) of founders Kelli Kenny and Lauren Parisier, who found from their own personal experiences with pregnancy that there just weren't too many solutions for the common skin conditions (and sleeplessness) encountered when one is expecting. Both women experienced a range of issues from stretch marks to fatigue to blemishes. After speaking with other women, they learned there experiences were not unique, and they set out on their own to create the Basq line--pregnancy skin care products that "let you care for yourself and feel cared for at the same time". In doing so, Ms. Kenny and Ms. Parisier assembled a group of experts from the fields of beauty, aromatherapy, product science and ingredient safety to formulate the Basq products. The Basq line--which by the way, gets its name from the notion of "basking" in the special moment of pregnancy--touts an uncompromising stance with regard to safety, gentleness and efficacy. Basq has become popular with the Hollywood set as well--Jennifer Lopez, Marcia Cross, Christy Turlington, Heidi Klum, Sheryl Crow, Angelina Jolie, and Diana Krall are all fans.
