The Bare Minerals Company Line
“…bareMinerals is the Foundation that Started the Mineral
Makeup Revolution. It began with Bare Escentuals' introduction of our bareMinerals SPF 15 Foundation. Since 1976, when we opened our first store in Los Gatos, California,
Bare Escentuals has been a pioneer in the cosmetic industry with our makeup, made from 100% pure bareMinerals and free of preservatives, oil, fragrance, talc and other skin irritants.”
The Bottom Line
If it looks like a powder, and it feels like a powder…but it’s NOT a powder
makeup foundation, it must be bareMinerals.
Bare Escentuals, founded by Leslie Blodgett, claims that millions of women swear by their bareMinerals foundation. Why? bareMinerals touts that its formula is appropriate for
sensitive skin as it has no preservatives, talc, oil, fragrance or other potential irritants and that in terms of efficacy, it provides weightless, adjustable coverage. The biggest claim though? That it will improve the condition of skin over time.
Did you know?
Even though bareMinerals foundation is powder-like (but not a powder!), it protects with a
natural, broad-spectrum SPF15, and carries the Skin Cancer Foundation Seal of Recommendation.

This product is not the best for darker complexions. It leaves a greyish ashy look. The worker at the store said its probably from the sunscreen that is in the powder. Didnt look natural because of this
