Given what Aveda says about its mission, Aveda is a brand that fosters an altruistic approach to providing beauty boosters that first and foremost take the Earth and her inhabitants into account. The Aveda line of products hosts a full range of head-to-toe care, including those with anti-aging benefits, such as Aveda Tourmaline Charged Radiance Fluid which claims to reduce fine lines and wrinkles by at least 30%. Aveda also has a series of spa/salon treatments, including the Botanical Skin Resurfacing treatment which claims to be an alternative to microdermabrasion. But these treatments are only available at select salons, spas and Aveda stores.

 

According to the WWD Beauty Report International Top 100 Cosmetic Manufaturers’ Corporate Websites (April, 2007), Aveda is the first beauty company manufacturing with 100% certified wind power at its Minnesota facility. The wind energy goes into a utility grid from which Aveda draws power.
