Alaur Skin Solutions was developed by Dr. Albert Lefkovits, a New York dermatologist who practices at The Park Avenue Center for Advanced Medical and Cosmetic Dermatology. Alaur Skin Solutions combine natural extracts with more technologically advanced ingredients. One of the key ingredients found in a number of Alaur products is Meristem--a "botanical extract from the roots of oak trees known to have potent healing, soothing and antioxidant properties". Alaur VirginSkin Anti Aging Cream touts itself as an "addictive super moisturizer” that contains a fast-absorbing blend of vitamins, bio-flavinoids and botanicals and claims to help minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles--as well as to be gentle enough for use after peels and laser treatments.
