I had double eyelid revision beginning of October. Now its rough about 6 months since my surgery. I notice that my scar is pretty noticeable still. Its hypertrophic and still has some discoloration. Should I be patient and wait another 6 months or have a consultation with a doctor for potential treatments for it? Any advice would be so helpful!!! Thanks.
Hello, I got double eyelid surgery 6 months ago, and I didnt get my desired results, as the crease was too low. Is it possible to redo the surgery with a higher crease? Will the scar from the previous surgery show?
I had an Asian double eyelid surgery 6 months ago. There is still excess hooding and my crease is not visible. Also my eyes look closed and asymmetrical. What surgeries are needed to make my eyes look more open, with visible crease, and symmetrical? Do I need ptosis repair + lower brow lift? Also my lower right eye is too high - would lower blepharoplasty fix this?
I have very bad scaring after my second blepharoplasty. The doctor that I went to is a popular Asian plastic surgeon in Australia. But I feel that he does not want to help me and says that scars are expected. I can't even cover the scars up with makeup. It's very deep in the inner corners. What are my options to reduce the visibility of the scars? I am 6 months post op.
It has been 6 months after I have done my upper eyelid blepharoplasty, and I have begun to notice unevenness. The lids have certainly fell quite a fair bit, and the left eyelid is starting to look less deep than the right. May I know why this is happening, and whether it is a call for concern and what actions can be taken? You may find pictures before surgery, 5 days after surgery, and 6 months after surgery attached. Thanks.
I am an Asian male 6 months postop from blepharoplasty. Preop there was no crease and the attempt was to create a medium tapered crease. The attached photos show the problem. What is recommended strategy for revision? Thank you so much.
Hi, I was wondering what epicanthoplasty options there were for Asian eyes. I had a upper blepharoplasty around 6 months ago and my surgeon did not perform an epicanthoplasty like I had wanted. I like my eyes, but they are still too far apart for my liking. Thank you for your insight!
I had undergone double eyelid surgery 6 months ago. In about 4 months through recovery, the crease on my right eye started to become less visible. The crease on the left eye however is fine. I was suggested to undergo a ptosis surgery to help form the fold on the right eye but I am not sure if I would like to go through it as my right eye is not at all droopy and is also my dominant side.
I am very unhappy with the scars. I wanted more of a higher crease and I am not too happy with how the crease is a little tapered and close to the inner corner of my eye. When I put on eyeshadow, it makes the scar on the right eye look like a deep white line. The scar on my left eye looks like suture tract marks. It is rough and not smooth. The scars from my first surgery were a lot better, but he messed my eyes up the second time & it seems to have scarred.
