Question1: I had my double eyelid surgery done 2.5 weeks ago. It was latest Korean 3point method which claims to be scarless. But it seems to have a very obvious 3 holes on my upper eyelid and it's dark in Colour as well. What should I do to heal the scars completely? I'm using silicon gel after the stitches are removed, but it shows no progress of healing. Then I tried to apply rose hip oil instead. Which is better for healing?plus when will my eyelid swelling completely gone? My lid are thick
I got double eyelid surgery 2 weeks ago & 7 days ago I noticed a clear white knot popping out of my skin so I went back to my surgeon to get it clipped. A couple days later I could tell the buried sutures split because I saw and felt 2 hard dots on my eyelids (1 from the knot being clipped & 1 in the middle). I noticed my swelling has gone down a lot but the lumps & bumps are so noticible. Are these dangerous and will they go down with time? I really need a second opinion please. Thank you!
I had a non-incision double eyelid surgery 2 weeks ago and the area below my eyes (closer to the nose) will hurt whenever i apply a bit of pressure when cleaning my face. Is this normal? How long will it take for the pain to disappear?
Hi, I did Epicanthoplasty and double eyelid surgery 2 weeks ago. the result is one of the inner corner is longer than the other causing my eyes to look very uneven. furthermore, the iris on the left eye is so much further from the inner corner where as the right eye is more proportioned. But all together it looks like i have two different eyes. What kind I do to help this? I am really in need of help. Thank you
I just had a lower blepharoplasty (2-weeks post op) and my surgeon told me that no skin has been removed but some muscles are removed. It's an external incision. I just recently found out that at a young age, this type of incision is not advisable. Would that cause lower eyelid retraction even if there's no skin removed? I could see that my eyes got bigger now. I am hoping that it is temporary. Would massage help it? I am really depressed the way I look after the surgery.
I had double eyelid surgery done 2 weeks ago and was healing great for the first 2 weeks. However, 2 weeks after the surgery, a red bump developed on the incision line and I'm very concerned? What is it and is it going to go away? A day after the stitches were removed, I found there was one stitch left on my eye where the current bump is. I couldn't go back to the doctor since I'm leaving on a trip and the stitch disappeared after 2 days. Not sure if it has anything to do with the current bump.
I had a double eyelid surgery non incisional (suture method). It has been 2 weeks and my right eye is still slightly more droopy compared to the left eye. Is it normal for the right eye to be slightly more swollen and droopy compared to my left eye after 2 weeks post surgery? Would my right eyelid be completely normal? Is there a way to make the right eye normal fast? Thank you in advance for taking the time to answer this. (I've attached photos of my eyes for you to evaluate)
I am 12 days post op and I know I'm still swollen and the crease always look a bit too high at first, but my incision looks ridiculously too high (photos). Keep in mind that I wanted a natural looking crease for Asian eyes (2mm max). My mom had hers done and even she says the incisions look too high.
It has been (since 27 Sep 16) 2 weeks after surgery (non-incisional double eyelid & epicanthoplasty) I have asked for a parallel crease. I still see Mongolian fold travelling down to the lower innercorner of my right eye. I also do notice small bumps/scar on where the stitches were. Will both issues be permanent? (Stitches were removed on day 8) And both eyes seem to look tapered instead of parallel (which is what I asked for) In the future, will they look parallel?
