Too often patients treated for lower eyelid bags had changes in the shape of their eyes. This was due to the cutting of the muscle in the eyelid in order to gain access to the fat pads. This article demonstrates the authors significant experience with a technique he popularized in which the muscle is preserved and eyes are always left in their noemal almond shape. There is no scar on the outside of the eyelid.
