Over the past couple weeks it's been pale pink fluid seeping from there, but now it's thick. When I lift my arm or press along the incision it makes slushy sounds. It's not red or hot and the drainage doesn't smell. no obvious signs of infection. I'm packing and covering a hole about 3 inches below my armpit that opened week ago. The openings in my arm pit are too small to pack. Is it normal to hear the gooey sounds in there through the openings? I have delayed healing in this entire arm.
I am 6 weeks post op and my left arm just won't heal. It has a small opening which white pus(? Not sure) comes out of. A few pieces of internal stitches have also emerged. I have been keeping it clean and applying topical antibiotic ointment, alternating with airing it out. Shouldn't this be healing by now? I am going to the PS next week but looking for anything I can do now. The last pic is my other arm for comparison.
It looks like a pulled thread. and is slightly raised...During my 6 week follow up my PS said it would go away, but it doesn't appear that's going to happen. Looks like a trip out of state to have it repaired, any advise?
I had an arm lift with lipo 6 weeks ago. My left arm seems to still have puckering especially near the end. Im using silicone gel and also bio oil. I still have swelling in my forearm as well. Will this puckering eventually go?
I am now 6 weeks post op, I had lipo in my upper arms and an arm lift with the incisions being in my underarm. I am still feeling uncomfortable numbness in both arms, one more than the other. I am still wearing my compression garment because whenever i take it off the numbness gets worse and I feel like my arms are huge. Is it okay to keep wearing the compression garment for more than 6 weeks? And what can I do to reduce the numbness?
Mini arm lift 6 weeks ago during which I felt the electrical currents during the cauterisation along the whole length of the arm down to the fingers. I have a painful thrombosed vein (confirmed) which feels like a cord under the skin of the inside of my arm. Could this have been caused by the electrical currents ? I cannot ask my surgeon as it's likely to offend him. Please help as I'm very scared that it may not resolve
I had a bilateral armlift 6 weeks ago out of state. At 3 week postop visit I showed Doc some swelling & tenderness just below inner side of right elbow. He said it was normal, massage from wrist up, keep arms elevated & wear comp garment another week. The CG I got from Doc came 1.5-2 below elbows. I quit wearing CG 4 weeks postop & swelling improved. A couple days ago I noticed swelling in right wrist & forearm. I also noticed a lump below rt elbow & it's a little hard & tender. Suggestions?
