I am due to have revision surgery next month with the same consultant. My concern is that he has stated he is only performing revision scar surgery on my legs, and despite my request for another attempt at a short scar arm lift now, he has stated he will only give me further liposuction to my elbows, this will only serve to make my arms even flabbier. Am I not in a position where I can be more assertive and insist on a revision arm lift given the poor initial results?
It is now a little over a year since I underwent an arm lift. The scars widened a few weeks after surgery and have remained red. Do the scars appear normal? Are they hypertrophic or keloid? Will they turn white? What is my best option at this point?
I had an arm lift in September of 2022. When I went for my follow up I expressed my concern that my arms were still large. I was told that swelling can take up to 6mo to go away and we would look at it then. At my 6mo visit I was offered mesotherapy at no cost as long as I had not gained weight which I had not. It didnt help. At my one year I was basically told to work out and that these are my results. Im heartbroken.
I'm a 34 yo black women, 5'4, about 190 pounds. Had brachioplasty, tummy tuck, and bodytite of flanks and upper back in Sept 2020. In addition, I had previous breast lift with implants over 6 years ago. The recent procedures were done by a plastic surgeon in Austin, TX. I'm really disappointed with the appearance of my brachioplasty scars. What can be done to improve the look of my scars? I don't have history of keloid and my TT and breast lift scars are flat and thin, barely noticeable.
I had an arm lift almost 12 months ago and have been left disfigured. the scars are uneven and I have been left with dog ears, and excess skin, which falls to my elbow region.
I had an arm lift a year ago after waiting many years.. I lost a lot of weight and throughout my whole life I have never gone out sleeveless because I hated my upper arms...My arms are considerably better as it was previously really bad. However I'm not happy with the bottom billing part near the elbow which I believe is called dog ear? I thought this summer I would be able to go out sleevless but I can't because of this part it just looks really strange... is there anything I can do about this??
i got a arm lift about a year ago, and the scars got really red, big and wide. i'd try almost every cream but it dosent work. Im thinking about getting a second operation to fix this one what dou you think. it was me that didnt heal well or was the surgeon? (sorry for my bad grammar)
it has been a year since my arm lift and i still have the banding/crease issue. i would like your opionions on how to correct this. i have a good shape and definition in both arms, however, if i have lipo, will it make my arms droop or sag?
