Thank you for your great question? I agree with the other physician's and their posted answers... it is normal to feel tight following a tummy tuck procedure. As you recall, a tummy tuck procedure works on three tissue layers: skin, fat, and the muscles of the abdominal wall. Any one or combination of these three layers may contribute to the feeling of tightness in the early recovery phase. I would strongly recommend that you return to your treating surgeon for a thorough evaluation. Your surgeon knows you the best and the specific techniques employed. I hope this helps!
