My vitamin b12 level is 260 pg/ml. My doctor prescribed 1500 mcg (methylcobalamin) vitamin b12 dietary supplement for 3months (daily one) I am also taking isotretinoin , I am at end of my course only 2 months left Will taking vitamin b12 supplement aggregates acne again? Is my vb12 low Can I increase with food ( I am vegetarian) Will taking tablets again give me acne? I had taken vb12 injections year back and got acne at the same time for which I am taking accutane.
Biotin - (5000mcg per softgel) Keratin - (250mg per tablet) B12 - (500mcg per microlozenge) Also what are the risks of me taking any of those if they are expired (especially the the Biotin and B12)?
I have officially finished my accutane regimen! I took 40mg for almost 8months, my weight is around 70kg. I am a very active person in the gym and outdoors, the only side effect i had was dry skin, nose and dry lips. Physically, I was ok, I was able to finish a spartan beast under the sun. I was a little bit weaker, probably because I stopped all my supplements and multivitamins and minerals. I do want to know how long should I wait before I can take my supplements including multivitamins and minerals.
Prior to starting on Accutane I was an avid lifter and I would take pre workout, BCAAs, protein, Nitric Oxide, and 5a-Hydroxy Laxogenin (laxobolic). I stopped taking them when I knew I was going to start taking tane. Now that I'm starting to lose muscle mass I want to get back in the gym but want to know what supplements are safe to take.
I started lifting about 1 month ago and I was wondering if I could take protein shakes and startt using creatine daily or will it affect my overall hea;th. Some people made correlations between creatine and liver damage. Is this safe or should I avoid creatine and other supplements? Please help, thank you !
I read the label on the fish oil and there is no vitamin A. I am taking 40mg/day and I am 140 pounds. Is this safe? Also I know you are supposed to take it with fat/meal. Can I take it with a meal that contains good fat such as avocado and salmon?
I'm on accutane right now, my doctor gave me iron supplement and I take vitamin c with it Can I take kelp iodine supplement along withe msm while on accutane? And can kelp iodine supplement increase my metabolism , is it dangerous ? If not can I take msm supplement alone with accutane and iron? Thank you very much
I'm a bit of a female gym rat... I lift weights and was about to incorporate work out supplements into my regemin. I currently take fish oil 2x daily and a multi vitamin and the occasional whey protein shake. I am looking into purchasing Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) Supplements, pre-workout for energy and BCAAs for recovery.. I know that I do have to change my multi vitamin so that it no longer includes Vitamin A. Was just wondering if I can take the above things? I know creatine is a no.
