I read the reviews and I was a little nervous about the pain. You can do up to 4, 15 min rounds. The first round was fine, didnt hurt at all, the second round I got the ZING that people talk about but it still wasnt bad. the 3rd round was TERRIBLE! I had to stop half way in. My teeth did come up... READ MORE

I paid 600 for a zoom whitening from a top dentist in NYC. I got excellent results immediately but, unless you are willing to give up coffee tea and red wine. NOT! Then your teeth will require treatment again in approx 3 mos. I recommend spending the same money for custom bleaching trays... READ MORE

I had the Zoom treatment today. I used the Prevadent toothpaste 2x/day for 3 weeks before my appointment. The process was great. 4 15 min applications. No problem. They were shocked by how white my teeth were, as was I. (AT LEAST 8 shades). Left at 4:00pm. Around 6:30 the pain started. Holy... READ MORE

A lot of people talk about the pain. I had two bottom pre-molars that zinged for about 20 hours after the procedure (but not during). The pain wasn't a huge deal, but the zingers definitely do occur randomly, less as time goes on the day you have it done. There was no pain the following day... READ MORE

Think long and hard before getting the Zoom Whitening....the 'sensitivity' is much more painful than you may prepare for. I got the Zoom Whitening for $100 because I work at a dentist office (reception). I did everything as instructed (used Flouridex for over a week prior, took Ibuprofen... READ MORE

Both my girlfriend and I had this done sometime in 2010 at Dr. Apple Dentistry, Cebu, Philippines (Ayala Mall). We had separate dentists perform the Zoom procedure. I was 30 at the time, and she was 26. During the two hour treatment, there was minor discomfort with the long stretches of... READ MORE

Just got done about 30 minutes ago. Everything seems fine. No problems while procedure was being done. Hopefully no zingers at all. I have been using Colgate sensitive for a few weeks and occasional fluoride rinse. Also took two Aleve right before I sat down in chair for them to start... READ MORE

I paid $300 for the Zoom whitening procedure and my teeth looked the whitest they have ever looked. But. four to five hours after the procedure my teeth started experiencing this sharp pain, I took Alleve, some generic aspirin brand, and another generic ibuprofen, but at 9:30pm that night (had... I would reccomend never to ever ever do this. It was painful during and extremely after. My lips were burnt, and swollen for a day. My gums were burnt and had white spots on them. This treatment is insane. Absolutely like going back to the 1700's and I'm shocked any dentist could possibly... READ MORE

I got this on the recommendation of my dentist. Personally, I was not impressed with the results of the Zoom Whitening. My teeth were whiter but I think any at home treatment would have cost me %10 of the price and would have given the same, if not better results. Definitely not worth the $400... READ MORE

I had this done this week and am very pleased. Saw my dentist on a Tuesday for a cleaning and check-up. Also to discuss Veneers as I was pretty unhappy with my teeth lately. They found a cavity so we arranged for me to comeback and get the cavity done on Thursday and do the whitening. My... READ MORE

Before I had this done, I spoke to someone in the dental office about the procedure. I am prone to sensitive teeth and wanted to make sure it wouldn't be a problem. I was assured that it would not be. Once I arrived in the office, I was given paperwork that indicated that the procedure might... READ MORE

I did Zoom whitening two days ago. It was HORRIFIC. My dentist said absolutely NOTHING about the possibility of pain with this treatment. Everything was fine at first. The doctor took a picture of my teeth prior to starting. She painstakingly covered every part of soft tissue, leaving only my... READ MORE

I did this procedure Exactly one year ago. Everything went ok. After the treatment your teeths are very sensitive (sometimes hard to tolerate) but it comes with the package. It works great. I saw a difference instantly after the treatment. I decide to do it because I wanted to have a whiter... READ MORE

WARNING !! Stupidly I did the Zoom whitening treatment 4 years ago - excruciating nerve pain - was in tears ... a day later developed blood blisters at the top of the gums in which they told me perhaps some had seeped into my gums causing a slight infection. So four years on I have 2 abscesses... READ MORE

I had mine done at 9:30 a.m. and felt no pain for first (3) 15-min sessions and felt some minor zingers during the middle of the 4th. I thought it was all fine and was told I'd feel some "sensitivity". No, this was NOT sensitivity. It was pure pain! Every 20-30 seconds, pain would last about 3-5... READ MORE

Had this done several years ago now, was quite painful (more so than I expected), the procedure creates a sort of popping sensation in the teeth which is really unpleasant. At the time I had a discoluored front tooth and general yellowing and so this was a treatment before trying a veneer. The... READ MORE

I had my Zoom done one week ago. Despite having anaesthesia, I had extremely painful zingers during the third and fourth sessions and for about 5 hours more. Then zingers stopped, but my teeth hurt all the night. At the beginning my teeth were really white, but now, despite being on the white... READ MORE

Spent $400 for Zoom Whitening in 2010. I had very minimal sensitivity. My teeth did get a lot whiter and looked great - for about a week. 1-2 weeks later they looked pretty close to what they did prior to whitening. I was given an aftercare kit which admittedly I didn't use consistently. The... READ MORE
