This is my 3rd Vi Peel and I've had great results each time. I originally went in for a chemical peel 2 years ago for acne scarring on my cheeks. My main concern was to minimize my scars and little bit of active acne I had. And the peel did just that. I was really pleased with the results and... Read more

I had the Vi Peel/extractions done today at Gina's Skincare in LA. I have acne and scars. My skin has been problematic for the past 9 months or so. I did have acne as a teenager but it went away with birth control pills. I stopped the birth control and about a year after is when the acne started... Read more

So, I'm going to have my first VI peel on Thursday. I'm pretty excited. I'm filipina, French, Spanish and American Indian. I just had the IPL photofacial on The 3rd and even though I wasn't expecting a major change or even any at all, I've seem a difference. I'm also using 4% hydroquinone pads... Read more

I am a 24 year old African-Caribbean female with medium-dark skin (think NC-45 for MAC pressed powder). On Monday February 11, 2013 I called a local medi-spa for a consultation for a Vi Peel (there was a LivingSocial deal!!). When the Esthetician/Doctor saw my hyperpigmentation she gasped! Lol!... I have tried everything. I am 40 yo, suffer from melasma and am of Hispanic descent. I have tried other peels, fraxel, ( which cost thousands and made it worse!), other lasers, bleaching creams, microdermabrasion, and the list goes on and on. The melasma had become so bad that I didn't want to... Read more

I have had so many peels over the years: TCA, Jessner's, glycolic, Blue Peel (will never do that one again - OUCH!), all of the SkinMedica peels, and I have to say that the Vi Peel is by far the BEST one I've ever experienced! I will continue to have these 2 or 3 times a year to keep my skin... Read more

So far, not so bad. the initial sting of the peel wasn't nearly as bad as others have exclaimed. i'm only at day 5 and still haven't seen much of an improvement yet. the peeling is more than i thought! ...but it is not painful either, just ugly. i have been using small scissors to cut off the... I have always had nice skin, never even had acne. I started to get red and white blotches on my chin and asked an aesthetician what I should do. I have never gotten anything done like this before and she did not ask me any type of skin questions. She just suggested the VI Peel. I believed what... Read more

I have deep hyperpigmentation from years of cystic acne. After a five month round of accutane I've successfully gotten rid of the acne, thank God! Now I'm trying to get rid of the remaining red spots. The first night after the peel was the worst as far as itching/burning. The following day I... Read more
