Despite the hype and trappings, Thermage is the modern day equivalent of "Snake Oil."  Lots of  results dependant on the individual/ may require multiple sessions/ must have reasonable expectations etc. etc.----all while you're being shown quasi-miraculous Before & After... READ MORE

The procedure was so painful,I wanted to quit in the middle of it,but thought it worth it to suffer a bit.But I was wrong, there never were any results or difference. It was painful procedure,I felt pain even for a month after words,no results and it is very expensive...definitely wouldn't... READ MORE

I had Thermage performed on my face and neck and my evaluation is that it was a total waste of money as I absolutely did not see results. Was painful and expensive. Save your $ and use it more wisely than I did. I was truly disappointed in the outcome and lead to believe that "over... READ MORE

I had never had work done on my face and I had a chemical peel. I loved the results, but my doc talked me into Thermage. She insists that it isn't hot enough anymore to do damage. I have a very thin, almost sunken face. I have not been happy with the shape of my face since Feb. 2008 when I... READ MORE

I was supposed to have thermage, I was scheduled, etc. When I arrived they put Lynocain all over my face to prepare me. They say it was an allergic reaction. I do not necessarily believe this as I am not allergic to anything. But my head began to throb so bad it had to be removed. The Doctor tried... READ MORE

First off even though medicated it was quite painful, especially the chin area. I was tearing up so bad and kept having to ask for them to stop and give me another half of the medication they had given. It is a few months later and I see NO tighening or improvement of the skin after almost... READ MORE

Please do not resort to this procedure. It made me look 10 years older after 2 months. It melted the underlying fat layer with the result that today I have folds and sagging skin on my cheeks and neck. I will have to resort to a facial lift to correct this. It is dangerous when used at high... READ MORE

I have had botox (once), microdermabrasion, mild laser peel and photofacial. This was the least effective, most expensive and most painful of them. The photofacial was a piece of cake compared to this. The nurse actually gave me a rag to squeeze for pain, I had taken a pain pill too, but I... READ MORE

I went in for Botox, came out with a Photofacial, Thermage and Botox. Was extremely pleased with the Photofacial for several weeks (repeated treatments are recommended at $390 each). It has been 4 months since the Thermage and the jowls are gone, but my neck is still not good. The overall... READ MORE

I've had a variety of cosmetic procedures over a period of 15 years: laser resurfacing, brow lift, upper and lower eyes, and a "mini" face lift. I'm also experienced with botox injections. I'd worked with a surgeon I trusted for many years, but then moved to a new area. In my new... READ MORE

I had the thermage 3 years ago and absolutely NO benefit. No change whatsoever. Jowels unchanged, Lines beside my mouth and top lip no change. In my opinion this was a scam and a waste of money. No one in my family noticed and change forthe better, in fact I think I look more aged since the... READ MORE

Teh nurse practitioner that usually gave me botox sold me on trying this "exciting new procedure" called Thermage. I agreed. It took about 20 minutes and was somewhat uncomfortable but bearable. She said the results would come slowly culminating in about 4 to 6 months. I saw... READ MORE

Thermage is very dangerous for the face because what it does is to melt the fact under the skin. This will cause that your face get skinnier and the sagging worse. I may be OK for the body fact but not for the face as it has been used. The results are awful so don't waste your money. READ MORE

I had thermage treatments on my face and lower abdomen. I hoped it would help tighten & firm skin, and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. It did not help. I am sorry I wasted the money. I am grateful for this site because we can read about other's experiences before making a decision. Wish I had... READ MORE

I guess i got lucky with thermage and i loved the treatment. I got it done just 2 months ago for my forehead and it has worked very well. The frown lines that made me frown whenever i looked in the mirror are mostly gone and the skin feels much smoother and tighter. The treatment was slightly... READ MORE

I recently had what they call the "Body by Thermage" procedure and got really good results. I had my belly and love handles treated. I was astonished to realize that I had lost nearly 2 inches immmediately after the procedure! It did take awhile but the results were worth it! There was some... READ MORE

I am 48. I had a full face treatment and also Eyes by Thermage on Wednesday. My eyes have always been my best feature and was bothered by some hooding over my lids and so I went for it. The facility is one of the best in town. Very reputable dermatologist. Though I have a high tolerance... READ MORE

Ok, normally I do not post on message boards such as these, but a few things have rubbed me the wrong way. First, as I am looking at these customer review percentages, I see 'Chemical Peel' as having almost TWICE the approval rating as Thermage, I had to step in! I mean COME ON, CHEMICAL PEEL?!... This experience was so painful, especially in certain areas of my face that I had to constantly dry my tears with a tissue. I would have stopped after a few passes but was told I had to pay for the whole procedure regardless because I was paying for the tip that could not be reused. I was told... READ MORE

Please save your money I spent (lost) $5,000.00 at a Drs. office in Manhattan, the procedure does not work. If you want results save your money for a real procedure. This procedure is expensive and does not promise results as stated in the release that you will have to sign before the... READ MORE
