Hi Kelly,

Read this interesting post from Dr. Peter Aldea.  Apparently, newer Revitalash products may not work as well as they did in the past.  I had no idea!

Doesn't false eyelashes tend to pull out your real lashes when you remove them? I have very thin, very straight lashes and I'm afraid that false eyelashes will 1) tend to pull out the lashes I have, and 2) look weird because my lashes grown straight down. Even if I curl my lashes they look creased and not curled.

I've heard this can happen.  Actually, a RealSelf member said in their Latisse review that they started using Latisse because fake eyelashes pulled out their real ones.

The new Latisse from the makers of Botox (Allergan) will grow your lashes longer, thicker, and darker. The darker your hair color, the better it seems to work. It is applied nightly and results are seen in 8-16 weeks. Once you reach the length you like you can cut back to every 2-3 days.

Either apply a lash primer under your mascara or apply a mascara revitalizer ON TOP of your mascara to add thickening and lengthening. (RAMY Triumph Mascara Revitalizer and One Stop Shopping Mascara – also sold as a set called Lash Extension 101)
