Breast Revison, Reconstructive Surgery

This 32-year old patient from Chicago, Illinois was interested in breast revision and reconstruction surgery. The patient previously had breast augmentation surgery in 2003 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and revision breast surgery in 2004 in Beverly Hills, California performed by another surgeon. The patient was unhappy with the cosmetic results of her surgery and after waiting several years, the patient decided to have breast revision surgery once more. After numerous consultations via e-mail and phone conversations, the patient decided to fly into San Diego, California. The patient was able to speak and meet with current patients, who has had revisionary surgery and also go through many before and after pictures of the same complications. In order to achieve her desired look, previous breast implants was removed, capsulorrhaphy in breasts, 500cc silicone-gel moderate plus profile was used in both breasts, made by Mentor Corporation. The patient is now 4-days post-op and will be keeping in touch via e-mail and phone.
