What are your recommendations for improving my side profile? (photos)

About your nose:You don't have a hump. Considering your strong chin, the tip of your nose doesn't project forward from your face too far. You didn't post whether you are considering a rhinoplasty, but I would only consider it if you wanted a distinct shortening of your nose: elevating the tip. See the "Web reference" link, below. I made a computer modification to one of your profiles, and an accompanying animation, showing what that would look like on you.If that's not your taste, then leave your nose alone.About your chin:You've got a great chin. Don't consider a chin implant or augmentation. Yeah, maybe it doesn't come out as far forward as in some impersonal diagrams in a plastic surgery book, but your chin is tall, measured vertically from where your lips meet down to the bottom of the chin. With that vertical strength, if you add any strength to the forward projection of your chin, I'm afraid it will look too big.That's all I see. You eyebrows and eyes are great. Your forehead is great. Your jaw line is dynamite. Your neck line is great. Be very very careful about having something done, because most plastic surgery changes cannot be undone.

The photographs reveal a beautiful side profile which means the chin is appropriate in size and so is the nose.  I would not recommend any changes be made.  You have a beautiful Nose and chin.RegardsDr. J

 First of all it depends upon what is actually bothering the patient, not the surgeon. The photographs demonstrate an overly projecting nose, and an under projecting chin. A chin implant can be inserted through a submental approach to give added projection to the chin to help augment the chin to help with facial balance and proportions. The nose can be de-projected, and a slight dorsal hump reduced as well as refinement of the tip and bridge line. For many examples of this combination, please see the link and video below
